As a graphic design consultant for Ghana Health & Education Initiative ( I was tasked with creating a logo and branding kit for the organization's Safe Villages program. The program was formed in an effort to inform, prepare, and equip rural Ghanaian villages in the face of COVID-19.
My initial sketches and concepts focused on creating images of diverse community, trusted information, health, and safety.
The final logo mark includes three people, representing diverse villagers of different ages and backgrounds. They lay atop a silhouette of homes to symbolize the local village community.
The chosen palette borrows colors from GHEI's brand style, to ensure that the Safe Villages branding meshes with their existing brand scheme.
I produced assets for GHEI's Instagram and Facebook accounts and for email marketing use.
I also created in-language signage to be printed and posted around the local villages.
